OBC Automotive uses the information you provide to review service enquiries, contact you and arrange a drop-off after manual confirmation.
Information in a service request
The form collects your name, email, phone number, selected service, vehicle year/make/model, description of the concern, preferred drop-off date and time, and consent timestamp. A reference identifies the request. Please do not include a VIN, licence plate, payment information, medical details or other sensitive information.
How we use it
OBC uses the details to respond to your enquiry and discuss service. A request does not create an appointment or reserve a repair duration. Requests are not added to Google Calendar and are not used for marketing through this website. No payment is taken and no SMS service is connected.
Access and service providers
OBC Automotive’s authorized Owner and Staff review service requests through a password-protected panel with role-based access. The application is hosted on a Vultr server in Toronto, Canada. Authorized technical operators may access the system for maintenance and support. Email notifications contain a request reference and a link to the protected inbox rather than the full enquiry. Resend delivers these notifications to the mailbox designated by OBC. Email providers may process the notification outside Canada; customer contact details, vehicle information and repair descriptions are kept out of the notification.
Protection, retention and deletion
Contact records are encrypted by the application before storage, and connections use HTTPS. Active service-request contact records are kept for up to 90 days. An hourly retention sweep removes expired active records while the application is running. Minimal audit and stock-operation records may be retained separately for accountability and repeat-operation protection. Deletion of an active request does not immediately erase any earlier encrypted backup; backup copies follow a separate retention schedule. Contact OBC to discuss access, correction or deletion of your request.
Essential security information
A hashed network identifier, short-lived form challenge, rate-limit records and essential management-session cookies help protect the service against abuse. Technical error logs are intended to exclude request text and contact details. Authorized Owner and Staff access is limited by role.
Tire enquiries
The online product catalog is not available yet. Tire questions can be included in a service request. Product suitability, price and availability must be confirmed with OBC; submitting a request does not change inventory.
Cookies and links
Optional analytics requires your permission. The protected management panel uses an essential session cookie. Request details are not placed in browser storage. Call, map and review links open their respective services only when you choose them; those services have their own privacy policies.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is optional and stays off until you select Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not affect the website, telephone links or service requests. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Your choice is stored on this browser for up to 180 days; if browser storage is unavailable, it lasts only for this page.
After you accept, we count visits to public information pages, clicks on telephone links and successfully saved service requests. A call-button click does not confirm that a call connected. We do not send your name, email, phone number, vehicle details, repair description, request reference, form values, or URL query strings and fragments to Analytics. The service-request page does not send page-view events. Owner and Staff pages are excluded. Automatic form, search, download and outbound-link tracking are disabled.
Google receives technical information needed to deliver Analytics, including network and device information and a browser identifier. Analytics cookies can last up to 180 days. Google may process information outside Canada. Advertising features, Google signals and user-provided data collection are disabled; no Google Ads account is connected by this website. We honor supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping Analytics off. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Rejecting after acceptance stops this page’s Analytics collection, removes readable Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page to unload the Google tag. Earlier measurements are not automatically erased by changing your browser choice. The essential management session cookie is unaffected.
